Our Mission
Affordable Community Resources (ACR) exists to empower children and families by providing access to educational enrichment, nutritious meals, and mental wellness support.
We are committed to bridging equity gaps in underserved communities by offering programs that nurture the whole child—academically, emotionally, and physically—after school, on weekends, and throughout the year.
Our history
Affordable Community Resources (ACR) was founded to support the whole child—mind, body, and spirit—especially in communities where resources are limited but potential is endless.
With over 18 years of experience in community mental health, we expanded our mission in 2022 to include afterschool programs, academic support, and USDA-funded meals for school-aged children.
What began as a small outreach effort has grown into a trusted nonprofit serving thousands of students annually across Georgia. Guided by compassion and community need, we continue to provide safe spaces, full plates, and opportunities for every child to thrive.

At Affordable Community Resources (ACR), our team is more than staff—we are educators, mentors, advocates, and neighbors who share a deep commitment to serving children and families.
With expertise spanning education, mental health, youth development, food service management, and nonprofit leadership, we work together to provide programs that uplift and inspire. Each member of our team brings unique skills and lived experience, but we share one vision: every child deserves access to quality education, nourishment, and emotional support.
